About Me
I have been in love with horses and dogs my entire life. I named my business after Xenophon, my heart horse of 19 years. He is named after an ancient horse trainer and he has owned me since his conception. I have trained him from a baby to FEI level dressage, as well as many tricks including laying down.
I have always had a love of all animals and a passion for horses and riding. My mom got her first horse when she was pregnant with me and that has stemmed a life-long passion. This love of animals inspired me to work as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for the past 24 years. I have also worked as a horse and dog trainer and love all things relating to positive, reward-based training.
I have a 4 year old Lab named Tessie. Tessie is always at my side and accompanies me on almost all my shoots. She loves to make people laugh and show off all her tricks to her many fans or trade treasures for snacks.
Aside from my wonderful animals, I have an even more wonderful husband of 25 years. He supports my passions and accepts his role as my second favorite man, right behind Xen.
My experiences as a Veterinary and Technician and a trainer have brought me into contact with many different animals and relationships with their people. Each one is special and unique. I like to capture the funny moments as well as the serious so you can enjoy those memories forever.
